Pianist and composer Rolf Hind returns with his weekend exploring interesting contemporary piano repertoire. Themes include music for the left-hand alone, piano duos, prepared piano, with singer and dancer, the USA, queerness and cabaret, as through the music of Steve Martland, Rebecca Saunders, John Adams, Meredith Monk, Pauline Oliveros and John Cage; ending with mezzo Loré Lixenberg singing Schoenberg’s gripping sprechgesang 'Pierrot Lunaire'.
