Swedish soprano Maria Keohane joins the European Union Baroque Orchestra in a keen-aired programme of Handel vocal and orchestral works, including a powerful cantata in which a lover mourns the death of her sweetheart (drowned trying to swim the Hellespont to reach her), and a piece which calls on nature to aid the faithful in breathing 'the radiant air of heaven'.
