Jealous Guy: Aurora Orchestra

Love imperiled, love broken, love betrayed – the 2011 New Moves series at LSO St Luke's opens with music and dance inspired by the darker side of desire, courtesy fo Aurora Orchestra under Nicholas Collon, with Sam Swallow, voice/piano, accordionist Ian Watson, tango dancers David and Kim Benitez. A visceral programme ranging from Mahler's last anguished symphonic utterance to the crystallised grief of Dido's Lament.
