The New London Chamber Choir, the BBC National Chorus of Wales and the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Oliver Knussen, with soprano Claire Booth and mezzo-sopranos Polly May and Clare McCaldin. Alexander Goehr's 'Metamorphosis/Dance'; O Knussen's Symphony No 3; Helen Grime's 'Night Songs' (BBC Commission, world premiere); and Claude Debussy's 'The Martyrdom of St Sebastian' (complete incidental music, without narration). (Note: at 5.45pm and 10pm there are Proms Plus events at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall, respectively.)
