A chance to hear the man himself playing the music of Grieg, Cyril Scott, Gershwin, Josef Holbrooke and Roger Quilter and, of course, his own compositions. Not all virtuosi of Grainger's day were so involved in the mechanics of the piano roll, but many of them – fortunately for us – are preserved in performances in this way.
