South-American singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil and his band are joined by the London Symphony Orchestra under Francois-Xavier Roth for an evening featuring new arrangements by Jaques Morelenbaum of his own songs, alongside music originating from and influenced by his beloved Brazil. Villa-Lobos's 'Zoé Act 1: Danca Frenetica'; 'Amazonas'; Milhaud's 'Saudades do Brasil'; and Villa-Lobos's Chôros No 10: 'Rasga o Coração'.
