Escher String Quartet

The Escher String Quartet (violinists Adam Barnett-Hart and Wu Jie, viola player Pierre Lapointe and cellist Dane Johansen) opens the BBC New Generation Artist concert series with Haydn's String Quartet, Op 76 No 4 'Sunrise'; Schubert's Quartettsatz in C minor, D703; and Brett Dean's 'Eclipse', composed in response to the Indian Ocean 'boat people' refugee crisis of 2001.
