Time Out says

Jazz pianist and composer Julian Joseph, along with his All Star Big Band and vocal guests, performs a special one-off concert.

'Windows into Tristan and Isolde' gives a glimpse into the re-imagining of an age-old tale. Joseph says of it: 'My purpose with this small collection of pieces is to illuminate Mike Phillips' specifically chosen aspects of this classic narrative, and to open a window onto the retelling of a beautiful story.'

With Carleen Anderson (soprano), Ken Papenfus (tenor), Cleveland Watkiss (baritone), Christine Tobin (mezzo-soprano) and The Julian Joseph All Star Big Band – an 18- to 20-piece band, comprising of Joseph’s own Trio (pianist Julian Joseph, drummer Mark Mondesir and Mark Hodgson on acoustic bass) and the best of Britain's multi-generational jazz talent. With Russell Bennett, trumpet, Shabaka Hutchings, woodwinds, and Richard Henry, bass trombone.
