A concert to celebrate the conductor and composer Ronald Corp's sixtieth birthday. The Highgate Choral Society and New London Orchestra under Ronald Corp, with soprano Claire Rutter, tenor Mark Wilde, baritone Mark Stone, The London Chorus, the New London Children's Choir and sixteen soloists from Musicians Benevolent Fund. Ronald Corp's 'The Wayfarer' for 16 soloists and orchestra (World premiere); 'And all the trumpets sounded' for baritone, chorus and orchestra; and Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana'. (Note: at 6.15pm Ronald Corp reflects on his work as composer, conductor and choral trainer, in conversation with Richard Morrison.)
