Find out more about the life and music of Beethoven with access to an LSO rehearsal and a chamber music session with LSO players. 10am-1pm in Barbican Hall, join Sir Colin Davis and the London Symphony Orchestra as they rehearse Beethoven's Symphony No 7 and Piano Concerto No 3 with Jonathan Biss, followed by Vlad Maistorovici's Halo (2009 Panufnik 10-minute Commission) conducted by Clemens Schuldt, winner of the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition. Then, 2.30- 5.30pm, in Jerwood Hall, LSO St Luke's, a talk by LSO Animateur Rachel Leach followed by a recital of Beethoven's String Quartet No 8 in E minor, Op 59 No 2 ('Rasumovsky'), plus a Q&A session with Rachel Leach and the LSO players.
