BBC SO Total Immersion: John Tavener Remembered

BBC Symphony Orchestra dedicates a day to exploring the work of the late Sir John Tavener through talks, film and music. Highlights include a 5.30pm recital from the BBC Singers, who join the BBC SO under Alexander Vedernikov at 7.30pm for a concert featuring ‘Little Ceremonial’, ‘Akhmatova Requiem’ and ‘The Protecting Veil’, which first brought Tavener to popular recognition.
