BBC Proms presents Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin in a concert performance of the concluding opera in Wagners' 'Ring Cycle'. 'Götterdämmerung' sees the unleashing the final chain of betrayals that culminates in the destruction of the gods. Ian Storey is the tragic hero Siegfried, Nina Stemme the fallen valkyrie, Brünnhilde, while Mikhail Petrenko sings Hagen, born to hatred and despair.
