András Schiff performs Beethoven

The Philharmonia Orchestra performs Haydn's Symphony No 104 - the composer's final symphony and the last of his twelve so-called 'London' symphonies, all composed over two visits to the British capital. Also on the programme: Brahms's Variations on a theme by Haydn (St. Anthony); and Beethoven's exuberant Piano Concerto No 4 featuring soloist András Schiff who doubles up as pianist and conductor for this concert.
