The early music ensemble Poeticall Musicke presents a programme of favourites and rarities, including works by Marc-Antoine Charpentier and Henry Purcell.
(Note: Poeticall Musicke is one of the few ensembles to boast a permanent continuo array of baroque harp, theorbo, harpsichord, viol and lirone, which it uses in different combinations, usually as accompaniment to soprano Rosemary Galton and violinists George Clifford and Rafael Font.)
