Time Out says

Many N16 locals will remember when this tiny 120-capacity venue in the basement of pleasant Stokey pub The Three Crowns was home to the late, great Andrew Weatherall’s monthly night A Love From Outer Space, back when the place was known as The Drop. Having long since been relaunched by the team behind The Lock Tavern and The Shacklewell Arms, these days it hosts a mixture of (often queer-leaning) club nights such as UK Hun? and Pop Never Dies, as well as gigs programmed by Snap, Crackle and Pop. A host of electronic music innovators have played here over the years too, including Daniel Avery and Four Tet, while Stoke Newington local Caribou recently hosted a four-night residency here in September 2024 ahead of the release of his latest album. Gigs here are cheap, or sometimes even free, and it stays open later than anywhere else nearby, shutting at 3.30am on weekends.
