‘Rocketman’, the film detailing Elton John's incredible journey, paints an extraordinary picture of the superstar’s life, so it seems only right that it’s matched with an extraordinary venue. This month, The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show is taking the epic musical biopic to the city's most spectacularly appointed cinema, 800 feet up The Shard.

On Wednesday November 20, you can head up to the highest viewing point in London to take a 360-degree panorama of the capital's iconic skyline. When you're done gathering Instagram-worthy content, you can settle in with a free G&T and popcorn to watch ‘Rocketman’ on the big screen.

You may have to dig into your pocket for this one, though, as tickets are £45, but if you're feeling inspired by Elton and his decadence, this could be an early Christmas gift to yourself. So fish out your feather boa and get along to a screening that's higher than ’70s Elton.

The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show’s screening of ‘Rocketman’ will be held at The View from The Shard, Joiner St, SE1 9QU. Wed Nov 20. Tickets are £45.
