Over the last year or so, we’ve been taking a look at some of the hundreds of different nationalities that call London home. Although Sri Lankans aren’t as numerous in the capital as people from other parts of the Indian Subcontinent, there are still upwards of 80,000 Londoners who were born on this island in the Indian Ocean, plus lots more with roots there. And they’ve made their mark on the capital’s culture and food, with kothu and hoppers stealthily becoming city favourites, and prominent British Sri Lankans like MIA repping the city hard.

So we want to know: what’s your favourite Sri Lankan place in London? From restaurants to delis and culture spots to sports venues, let us know about the places and events where you can experience a bit of Sri Lanka right here in the capital. Leave your tips in the comments box below and we’ll use the best in an upcoming issue of Time Out London.
