It’s officially the Christmas season, so in the words of Chaka Demus & Pliers: trees me, tree me, trees me baby. There are tannenbaums popping up all over the city, sure, but not all trees are created equal. Some are designed by artists. Oooh, fancy, etc. The Connaught’s tree, for example, has been designed by none other than bed-wrecking art world megastar Tracey Emin. She’s covered the immense pine with a neon poem about love. This is what it says:
A smile? The greatest gift of all? There’d better be something better than a smile under my Christmas tree on December 25th. I want a fucking Nintendo or something. I dunno, I’m old.
Tracey Emin's tree is outside the Connaught in Mayfair. Find more art to see here.
