1. After a status quo-shattering end to 2017, the Southbank Centre's Women of the World Festival is more important than ever. Here you’ll find a killer line-up of discussion, debate, performances and activism, all celebrating female achievements and highlighting obstacles in the world of women. Passes are sold out, but you can still get tickets for some individual events happening over teh weekend. Prices vary.

2. The Raw Wine Fair pours back into the capital for another year, proving that organic wine is not a short-lived trend. Head to The Stour Studios on Sunday and meet more than 150 growers and try their natural, organic and biodynamic concoctions. Day tickets are £45.

3. It’s the last weekend to see the Orchid FestivalKew Gardens' celebration of the orchid, which this time focuses on the plant life of Thailand. See hanging orchid bouquets, handcrafted floating Thai umbrellas and an impressive sounding Bang Pa-In inspired orchid palace. The festival is included in the admission price.
