Three things you won't want to miss in London this Wednesday

1. Visit Zandra Rhodes's multicoloured Rainbow Penthouse for a day that's part open house, part Christmas market. You can pick up Rhode's fashion creations for anywhere between 50p and £1,000. Her bestie, the sculptor Andrew Logan, will be selling small watercolours and sculpture pieces too.

2. Feast your eyes on a city made entirely out of gingerbread. For the Museum of Architecture Gingerbread City event, architecture firms are invited to buy a plot and create a biscuit building on the ‘site’. All those gingerbread walls won’t build themselves, so there are cookery workshops too. Try not to nibble your handiwork.

3. Feel all Christmassy at a ChildLine's Merry Little Christmas Concert in St Columba's Church. Listen to a reading from Catastrophe star Sharon Horgan and sing along to traditional carols.
