Three things you won't want to miss in London this Tuesday

1. Today is your last chance to have a whirl on Kew Garden's winter Victorian carousel. It's dotted among a whole bunch of other vintage fairground rides beside their cafe, which is also serving up a menu of warming winter meals. The rides are included in the cost of entry to garden, which is £12.75 for adults.

2. If you haven't been to the Barbican's Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition, there's no better time than now. Basquiat was the biggest young artist of his generation and his sprawling show – the first major retrospective in the UK ever – unpicks all the elements that made him so special.

3. If you feel like you've consumed one too many mince pies over Christmas, join Re-Solutions Festival. It's a 30-day-long health and wellness festival at Juju’s Bar and Stage offering a post-Christmas pick-me-up. Take part in yoga and martial arts classes, motivational talks, workshops and mini-retreats. See their website for a full programme of events and prices.
