It had to happen some time: ‘Titanic’ is finally coming to Time Out’s open-air film series Movies on the River.

There’s only one way to close a booming summer for London’s only floating cinema on the Thames: with two screenings of the watery romantic epic starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

‘Titanic’ will screen at Movies on the River on two consecutive weekends, first on the night of Saturday September 1 and then again on Saturday September 8.

There will be plenty of opportunities to recreate your own Kate-and-Leo moments on the top deck of the boat. Before the film starts, we’ll take a quick cruise along the river. That’s the time to whip out your phone and ask a friend to snap you and your loved one leaning over the railings and staring into the sunset.

By the time the film screens, the boat will be safely anchored with some of the best views in the city all around you.

Best of all, you can rest assured that all icebergs will remain strictly on screen. Join us, and feel free to sing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at the top of your voice.

‘Titanic’ screens at Movies on the River on Saturday September 1 and Saturday September 8. The boat will leave Tower Pier at 7.30pm.

You can explore the full line-up and buy tickets here.
