But one Londoner’s bold tropical print is another Londoner’s garish ’70s nightmare – and just like people, your borough’s taste in wallpaper says a lot. So here are the most popular patterns in each borough, thanks to data from Graham & Brown (the UK’s biggest wallpaper manufacturer).
While neutral colours and mid-mod geometric patterns are popular across town, people in some boroughs do like a bit more colour on their walls – from leafy greens in Islington and Greenwich to old-school William Morris vibes in Lambeth and Kingston. South London has never looked so colourful.
