Satan’s Whiskers in east London has been named Cocktail Bar of the Year – again!
The Top 50 Cocktail Bars 2025 list – which is organised by the Morning Advertiser – featured a whopping 24 bars in London including the highest new entry, Soho’s Dram at number 8.
Satan’s Whiskers, which opened back in 2013, scored top place in the list in 2019 and 2023, and has clawed back the number one spot thanks to ‘a clear array of knowledge between all the bartenders alongside quality drinks and unbeatable atmosphere (which) makes this industry hotspot number one in the UK’.
Speaking about the bar’s win, Morning Advertiser editor Ed Bedington said: ‘We’re delighted to see Satan’s Whiskers back on top once again, marking the third time they’ve been voted number one. It’s clear to see from the dedication and passion of the team there that it’s found its rightful place on the list.’
Satan’s Whiskers only takes reservations by telephone, and offers a daily changing menu. Our order? The house martini never fails to deliver.
Other London bars in the top 50 include Tayer+Elementary in Shoreditch at number five, Swift in Soho at six and Lyaness on the South Bank at 10.
Equal Parts in Hackney was named ‘One to Watch’, while Little Mercies in Crouch End was named Sustainable Bar of the Year as well as taking the number 29 spot in the main list.
