This weekend might be a chilly one, but these five events will bring some heat to your Saturday. Catch The Lord Mayor’s Show where carriages, dancers and marching bands take over the streets of London or see world-famous poets and authors talk at the tail end of Tottenham Literature Festival.  

1. The Lord Mayor’s Show

It’s the big one. One of London’s oldest events is turning 804(!) this year. See cadets, carriages, floats and marching bands moving through the streets.

2. Borders and Boundaries

Mark 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall at this film series exploring how borders have shaped people’s lives across the world.

Don’t miss the last day of N17’s festival of words. There’ll be poet talks, author panels, workshops, film screenings and a book market on offer.

5. Fat Positive Clothes Swap
