With London’s newest Michelin stars announced for 2025 this week, you might be considering making a trip to one of these very delicious, and award-winning restaurants. And you also might be considering if you’ve got enough dosh to afford it.

Most Michelin star spots are pretty pricey. Prohibitively expensive, in fact. Take, for example, Sushi Kanesaka in Mayfair, which costs £420 a head for its omakase offering (and yes, that is before drinks). Or how about Ikoyi at 180 Strand in Temple with its £350 tasting menu?

But not every single Michelin star tasting menu will leave you destitute. We’ve collated a list of the top 15 most affordable Michelin star tasting menus in London.

At the top of the list is lovely little neighbourhood bistro Casa Fofo in Hackney, where you can dine on an eight-course tasting menu for £73, which might include the likes of pollock with bergamot and chanterelles, and umeboshi froyo for pudding.

In joint second place are Amaya in Belgravia and Shoreditch’s Plates – which has just become the first ever vegan restaurant in the UK to win a Michelin star. At both of these restaurants the tasting menu will set you back £75. At Amaya you’ll get the likes of tandoori black pepper chicken tikka, and smoked chilli lamb chop, while Plates is serving up slow cooked leeks with chestnut cream and jalapeño and gooseberry dressing, as well as black truffle and artichoke risotto with blood orange and toasted hazelnut.

In joint third are Angler in Moorgate and 64 Goodge Street in Fitzrovia, where the tasting menus are £85 a head. Next up Londons oldest Indian restaurant Veeraswamy in Mayfair with a £90 tasting menu, followed by west African restaurant Chishuru at £95. The last London Michelin star tasting menu for under £100 can be found at The Ninth in Fitzrovia, for £97.

RECOMMENDED: All the restaurants newly awarded Michelin stars throughout the entire UK.
