You know how it is. You’re heading home after a hard day’s work, densely wedged into a stranger’s armpit on the Central Line, and all you can think about is your next mini-golf fix. God, how you love to putt a ball around a series of small eccentric obstacles. You just can’t get enough.
Well, fret no more, my impatient friend, because now modern crazy-golf overlord Puttshack has opened a new venue right inside Bank Underground station, so you can get from the tube to the (golf) club within mere seconds.
Following its Westfield and Lakeside venues, Puttshack’s latest venture is making use of Bank station’s vast maze of tunnels and popping a light-up course, plus a bar and dining area into part of it. Head to Exit 9 and you can enter the venue without even going above ground. Once you’re there, you’ll be able to tee off, with games lasting 20 to 45 minutes, and priced at £12.50 per person.
It’s bringing a whole new level of convenience to after-work clubbing.
Gaga for golfing? Try these other mini golf courses (with booze!).
