There's nothing fun about doing laundry – unless you replace your humble Hotpoint with a custom cocktail-spinning washing machine, that is. In honour of definitely-a-real-holiday World Margarita Day on Tuesday 22nd February, tequila brand Jose Cuervo has created a new novelty gadget called the Launderita. It couldn't be simpler to use: just pour your tequila and lime into the washing powder drawer, adjust the settings, press ‘spin’, and out comes a perfectly mixed bevvy from a handily-located tap at the bottom.

This machine is custom built for cocktail use, so don't try this at home unless you want drinks that come with an aftertaste of Persil Non Bio. Instead, you'll have to head to Mexican-themed bar Barrio in Shoreditch on Saturday 26th February from 5:30pm till 10:30pm to get your squeaky clean margarita fix. Delicious.

Here are the best places in London to drink margaritas.

Margaritas are on tap in this hidden Brixton bar.
