It’s shaping up to be a big Christmas for pop culture fans who like to talk their fandom just that little bit further.

Not to be outdone by Netflix’s massive, newly-announced Squid Game rave at Drumsheds, Disney+ is recreating the Home Alone house in Shoreditch this month.

Home Alone fans are invited to make like the Wet Bandits and have a nose around three of the very familiar rooms in the McCallister mansion. And absolutely no falling irons or rogue tarantulas.

There are  three sets to wander, including the hallway, living room and bedroom – each decorated in familiar ’90s style. A photographer will be on hand with a roaming photo booth to capture those timeless McCallister-alike moments.

Props and costumes, like Kevin’s booby traps and the Wet Bandits trademark cat burglar get-up, will also be at hand, along with Santa hats to turn up the festive vibes.

The Home Alone Experience is open for one day only on November 28, and it’s free for any filthy animals lucky enough to lay their hands on tickets. But bad news for any Kevins out there: entry is limited to 18s and over.

The first batch of tickets have already been snapped up, but keep an eye on the official site for more spots over the next few days.

Netflix is throwing a massive Squid Game rave at this London superclub – and tickets are free.
