Want to send 2024 off with a bang? We’ve got good news for you. If you missed out on tickets to London’s famous New Year’s Eve fireworks, don’t worry, because a whole new batch is being dropped today (December 2).
There are 50,000 ticks going for the central London extravaganza that will take place along Victoria Embankment, Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge. They’re expected to sell out fast, so set those alarms.
Here’s how to get tickets.
When do London NYE fireworks tickets go on sale?
The second batch of tickets go on sale at midday today, Monday December 2, sold exclusively via Ticketmaster. The first round of tickets that went on sale on October 18 sold out pretty fast, so be prepared.
How much do the tickets cost?
The price has increased from 2023, now costing between £20 and £50 depending on the viewing platform. This year’s price hike was to ‘enhance security and crowd management around the event, and cover increasing costs seen across the industry’, organisers said.
However, Londoners are also eligible for tickets that are £15 cheaper than those for visitors.
‘I’m proud that every year the eyes of the world look to London to see how we welcome in the new year,’ said Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
‘Our tickets are always in high demand so I urge anyone wanting to attend this fantastic evening to buy them as soon as possible from our only authorised outlet.’
How long is the display?
The fireworks display will last for 12 minutes.
