The best vegan restaurant in London is closing

For one beautiful year, Club Mexicana gave us all the gift of truly mind-blowing vegan Mexican food at Dalston’s Pamela. And now they’re taking it away. That’s right, the vegan Mexican street food stall’s residency is ending next Saturday, December 23, and we’re feeling a bit bereft.

Of course, this is not the absolute-complete-final-end. You’ll still be able to get your to-fish taco fix (the things they can do with beancurd!) at Club Mexicana’s stalls at Dinerama and Camden Market. But it’s not the same, is it? The atmosphere at Pamela was so sexy; your fellow East London animal-lovers so attractive… Still, there’s an all-you-can-eat taco farewell party next Wednesday (December 20), so that’s something. Fingers crossed 2018 brings us a permanent Club Mexicana restaurant.

Final service at Club Mexicana at Pamela is on Saturday 23 December.
