The Winter Toy Appeal is currently collecting donations for children experiencing poverty across London. You can easily purchase a brand-new toy to make a difference. The toys collected are given out to the community through schools, children’s centres, refuges and food banks.

You can bring new toys to one of four drop-off locations across London. There is an online wishlist where you can pick a toy from an independent London store for the appeal to go collect in person. You can also make a monetary donation through the Winter Toy Appeal Go Fund Me and all will go to purchasing more toys.

Participating toy shops include Soup Dragon (Crouch End), Stoke Newington Toys & Books and Know & Love (Stoke Newington), which are all offering 20 percent off Winter Toy Appeal purchases. Donations for the appeal can also be purchased at The Toybox, Victoria Park. Leave donations in the store to be collected by the Winter Toy Appeal for distribution.

If you join the Local Buyer’s Club for £6, £5 will be donated to the appeal. Membership is typically £12. You can also purchase a double membership for £10 and it will all be donated.

Last year, 5,600 children were reached by the appeal. Help send even more children living in poverty toys in 2021.
