Secret Cinema, the UK’s biggest immersive cinema organiser, has just announced its next big event.
‘Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical’ will be coming to Battersea Park this summer.
Running from August 1 to September 7 at the Evolution London events space in the park, it will welcome ticket holders into the world of Rydell High School circa 1957 for a two-and-a-half-hour production featuring a cast of 30 performers and giant multi-screen platforms.‘Every corner of the venue will transform into an immersive and unforgettable cinematic theatrical experience,’ runs the press release.
‘We’ve always pioneered spectacular immersive worlds that culminated in an epic film screening,’ says the show’s director Matt Costain. ‘Secret Cinema returns bigger and better than ever, offering an experience like never before. Now, in this new production of Grease, you’ll live the film from start to finish, fully absorbed in its heart. With the movie playing all around you and performances at every turn, you’ll really become part of the action.’
