If you, like us, have sought refuge from the winter blues browsing our list of underrated travel destinations for your next summer getaway, then Ryanair’s newest announcement might have just expanded your search.
On January 29, Michael O’Leary revealed Ryanair’s plans to service ‘7 new Summer 2025 routes from London to Bodrum, Clermont-Ferrand, Dalaman, Münster, Lübeck, Linz, and Reggio Calabria’. You might not have heard of them but Türkish destinations, Bodrum and Dalaman, are well-suited to sun seekers and history nuts alike. Both destinations sit along Türkiye’s southwest coast, complete with crystal Mediterranean seas and archeological sites a-plenty.

German locations, Münster and Lübeck will be popular with city-breakers in search of bustling music scenes, historic architecture, bier and the odd bratwurst. As well as hosting Germany’s most extensive UNESCO World Heritage Site- Lübeck Old Town, the lesser known city also boasts three Nobel prize Laureates.
