London has a number of fantastic state schools, which means that sending your children to a private school isn’t always necessary for them to get a good education. That being said, deep-pocketed parents might still choose to send their kids to some of London’s most prestigious – and expensive — private schools. 

But which of London’s elite schools cost the most money? Read on to find out where are London’s most expensive private schools, and how much they cost. 

London’s most expensive school is Westminster School, which charges up to an eye-watering £20,995 per term, meaning annually parents could be forking out as much as £62,985 per year. This staggering cost is for boarders, with day pupils aged 13+ charged £14,749 per term, and over 16s paying £15,894 per term. 

In second place is St Paul’s School, where one term costs £17,043 for boarders, and £11,325 for day pupils. The third most expensive place to get an education in the capital is St Paul’s Girl’s School, where it costs £12,866 per term for Year 12 and up, and  £11,917 per term for lower years.

  4. Godolphin and Latymer, up to £11,226 per term
