Back in July we at Time Out reported on the news that Dave’s Hot Chicken, one of North America’s best-loved fast food chains, would be opening up restaurants in the UK. The arrival of Dave’s is big news: the brand’s first UK store opens in December, and 60 more are expected to follow.
If you’re intrigued by the arrival of another chicken brand in the UK, you’ll soon get a chance to find out what the Dave’s Hot Chicken hype is all about. The brand is opening a pop-up in London next week, and it’ll be giving out free tasters.
London chicken connoisseurs, mark your calendars for November 20 at 5pm. You’ll need to head down to a carpark in Shoreditch (opposite 5A Club Row, E1 6JX), and sliders – what Dave’s calls its full-size sandwiches – will be given out to the first 500 in line.
Dave’s Hot Chicken founder Arman Oganesyan said: ‘We started in a parking lot, so we’re excited to kick off our exciting London adventure with that same energy. We can’t wait to greet Londoners and visitors alike and give them the full Dave’s experience…on us!
‘All we can say is be prepared to get your hands on some of the hottest, most succulent chicken you’ve ever had.’
Dave’s Hot Chicken is famously backed by celebs like Drake, Usher, and Samuel L. Jackson – and if you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, you won’t have to wait long to find out.
