Now that Halloween is out the way, it’s time to get into the Yuletide spirit. Or else. Just kidding, but it’s pretty hard to avoid all the festivities in London, from the light displays to the markets. Now, we have some very exciting news that is might actually snow before the big day.

AccuWeather’s long range weather forecast has predicted snow on two days in the run up to Crimbo. They are predicting snow on November 30 and December 14. On November 30, expect ‘periods of snow and rain in the morning; mostly cloudy’. The forecast is for 0.2cm of snow, with lows of 1C and highs of 9C.

Then two weeks later, get ready for ‘a bit of morning snow’. AccuWeather predicts highs of 7C and lows of 0C, with 0.4cm of snow. That was Accuweather’s prediction on November 4 – check for more recent forecasts here.

Okay, we’ll admit it’s not the blizzard we’d need for London to be covered in a white blanket, but there’s still promise.
