Would it be a weekend in London if there wasn’t some sort of TfL disruption? Things aren’t looking so bad for November 29 to December 1, with closures on only a few tube and Overground lines.
The one major upside for north Londoners is that while Caledonian Road station has been closed for a month or so (though only one way), those works are now finished. Here’s all the train disruption you need to know about this weekend.
Piccadilly line
Saturday November 30, from 1am until 3am, no service between Hyde Park Corner and Cockfosters. Replacement bus PL6 will run between Finsbury Park and Cockfosters.
Saturday November 30, from 3am, and all day Sunday, December 1 (including Friday and Saturday night tube), no service between Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters.
Replacement buses: PL5 (daytime only): Finchley Central to Arnos Grove. PL5 (nightime): Finchley Central to Cockfosters.
Elizabeth line
From 9pm on Saturday November 30, a reduced service will operate between Paddington and Heathrow (all terminals) / Maidenhead. Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell will be closed. Two trains an hour will serve Heathrow Terminal 4, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead. Four trains an hour will serve Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3. Six trains an hour will serve Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington.
Until 11am on Sunday December 1, there’s no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway. The last train from Heathrow Terminal 5 at 12.07am on Sunday morning terminates at Ealing Broadway. A reduced service will operate between Ealing Broadway and Heathrow (all terminals)/Maidenhead, with no Elizabeth line service to/from Heathrow Terminal 5, change at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 for Heathrow Express. Two trains an hour will run between Ealing Broadway and Heathrow Terminal 4 and between Ealing Broadway and Reading, but will not call at West Ealing or Hanwell.
From 11am on Sunday, a reduced service will operate between Paddington and Heathrow (all terminals) / Maidenhead. Six trains an hour will serve Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington in each direction, four trains an hour will serve Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, and two trains an hour will serve Heathrow Terminal 4, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead. Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell stations are closed.
DLR
There’s no service between Prince Regent and Beckton all weekend. Replacement buses will operate.
Overground – Mildmay line
Changes to the Clapham Junction to Stratford train on Saturday: trains at 9.04pm and 10.34pm from Clapham Junction to Stratford, and at 11.19pm from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction will not run.
Changes to Stratford to Clapham Junction / Richmond train on Sunday: the 8.48am Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction train starts at Shepherds Bush at 8.55am. The 9.15am Gospel Oak to Clapham Junction train starts at Shepherds Bush at 9.40am. The 9.31am Stratford to Richmond train starts at Willesden Junction at 10.13am and the 9.38am Stratford to Clapham Junction train starts at Willesden Junction at 10.20am.
Overground – Windrush line
Until 8am Sunday, December 1 there’s no Overground service between Sydenham and West Croydon.
On Sunday there’s also no service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction / Battersea Park. Replacement bus M will operate between Canada Water and Clapham Junction.
Northern line
Colindale and Kentish Town tube stations remain closed.
