London tube closures this weekend: the full list of travel disruption for January 17-19

Here’s how to get around amid Jubilee, Piccadilly and Overground line closures

You know the drill by now. It’s nearly the weekend, so that means there will be a load of planned closures and disruptions across the TfL network.  

This January 17-19 look out for disruptions on the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Elizabeth lines, plus closures on a number of Overground services. If you’re travelling on those lines, make sure to check your journey ahead of time.

Here are all the closures to know about this weekend.

Jubilee line

Saturday January 18, between 1am and 4.15am, no service between Finchley Road and Stratford. Replacement bus JL3 will run between North Greenwich and Stratford City. Due to roadworks, buses will not serve West Ham Station and will stop in New Plaistow Road, at Church Street, in both directions.

Saturday January 18, from 4.15am and all day Sunday January 19, no service between Green Park and Stratford. Replacement bus JL3 will go between North Greenwich and Canning Town. Overnight journeys on Saturday morning will also serve Canary Wharf, and overnight journeys on Saturday and Sunday morning will serve West Ham and Stratford. Replacement bus JL4 will operate during the day non-stop between North Greenwich and Stratford.

Piccadilly line

There’s currently no service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge due a shortage of Piccadilly line trains while TfL fixes damage caused by a leaf fall.

Elizabeth line

Sunday January 19, until 11.30am, no service between Maidenhead and Reading. Replacement bus W3 will run between Maidenhead, Twyford and Reading.

Overground

Mildmay

Sunday 19, no service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction. Also no service between Gospel Oak and Stratford. Replacement bus S will operate between Hampstead Heath and Stratford.

Lioness

Sunday January 19, until 12pm and after approximately 8.30pm, no service between Euston and Kilburn High Road. First through trains operate at 11.30am from Watford Junction and at 12.15pm from Euston, and last through trains operate at 8.15pm from Watford Junction and at 8.57pm from Euston.

Weaver

Sunday January 19, until 10.15am, no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town / Cheshunt. Replacement buses will operate: L1 between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town; L2 between Seven Sisters and Cheshunt.

Windrush

Sunday 19, no service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace.
