When a party has been put together by the Cause, you know you’re in good hands. Its day parties are the stuff of legends and in the past it has brought sets from the likes of FKA Twigs and Nia Archives.
It’s been a particularly busy year and a bit for the Cause crew. After saying goodbye to its Tottenham home in 2021, the beloved grassroots club found a new permanent space at the Docklands last January. In the same year, it launched the Greyhound in Peckham and the Marquee Moon in Dalston.

Now, there’s another new addition to the Cause family: Vittoria Wharf, a 200-capacity space set in an old industrial warehouse along the canal in Hackney Wick. The Cause promises that it’ll be ‘a new home for London’s grassroots movements to grow — providing space for new ideas to develop.’

The space will be christened on Good Friday (April 19) with 'A Very Very Good After Party’, which kicks off straight after the Cause’s 14-hour day party.
Punters can expect a regular intimate party series in collaboration with underground crews and artist-focused all-day or night events that ‘allow for out-of-the-norm show formats’. Artists already confirmed for Vittoria Wharf include Charlie Bones, Unai Trotti, Kasra V and Percolate.
Announcing its brand new space, the Cause added: ‘With its canal side location and abundance of natural light and greenery, weekend day into night parties will be a key fixture in the space, catering for those who like a day time dance’. We’ll see you there.
