Every year, Time Out asks thousands of urban dwellers across the world about what their city does best. For 2025, people gave us their two pence on stuff like their city’s fooddating scene and overall aesthetic. And obviously, London was part of the mix.

While the Big Smoke fared pretty badly when it came to dating and didn’t even make it into the top 20 for food (though it was third in the UK for that one), it has excelled in one surprising category – its public transport.

Sure, Londoners love to complain about the Underground (especially since it’s just got even more expensive), but let’s be real – we couldn’t live without it. The tube is the oldest network of its kind, having helped people get across the city since 1863.

Locals clearly know that they’ve got it pretty good. London’s public transport earned an 86 percent approval rating from locals in our survey, making it the sixth in the world for getting around and the number one in Europe.

The high rating is also thanks to all the vehicles working above ground, too, like our 30,000 Lime bikes and 675 bus routes.

All that being said... here are all the tube and train disruptions happening in London this weekend
