It’s official: the Spice Girls are back and playing Wembley next summer

The news we were all expecting has officially arrived: the Spice Girls (minus Posh) are going on tour.

The ’90s pop icons have announced a six-date UK stadium tour culminating in a sure-to-be-epic gig at Wembley Stadium on June 15 2019.

Victoria Beckham, the artist formerly known as Posh Spice, has given the tour her full blessing, saying in a statement: ‘Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour. I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!’

Oh, and Jess Glynne is the support act.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday (November 10) at 10.30am, with no pre-sales. You can watch the lolzy announcement video featuring Mel B, Mel C, Geri and Emma below.
