If 2017 was a bad year for restaurant closures, 2018 isn’t looking too rosy either. Eater has reported that Beagle, the much-loved British café and restaurant tucked under the arches of Hoxton station, has closed. Beagle hasn’t confirmed the closure yet, but its website’s down, it’s not answering the phone and the site’s deserted. The signs are all there – but we really hope it’s not true.
But take comfort: Beagle’s attractive neighbours, Tonkotsu and Berber and Q, are still open for business. Yes it’s a rebound, but dry your tears and get back out there.
