Did you manage to catch sight of London’s snow before it all melted away? The capital got a rare dose of snowfall over the weekend, its first of 2025. Like much of the UK, the city was under a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for two days, with temperatures dropping as low as -2C overnight.

It may be bitterly cold and kind of disruptive to daily life, but snow also makes London look particularly magical. The flurry began late on Saturday, with a thin sheet of snow even settling in some places. And, of course, Londoners across the city did their best capture it.

With most of it now melted away, here’s some reminders of what London’s snow looked like over the weekend.
