Ever panic about going clubbing for fear that hundreds of people will see your appalling, arrhythmical shuffling that you so quaintly refer to as 'dancing'. Well, fear not. The Dark Room is here.

On Saturday October 13, club giants Bugged Out! are creating a pitch black, no-phone clubbing haven within the walls of London Fields club, Hangar. Four top secret DJ’s (who we're pretty sure will be certifiably A-grade, given Bugged Out's insanely prolific history) will play behind a gause to keep them anonymous. The soundsystem will be installed by feted audio engineer Andy Kayall and there'll be an ambient chill out room too. Decent, right? If it all sounds like a throwback to the early days of raving, well, mission accomplished.

This adventurous exercise in clubbing perfection has come about via a collaboration with The Secret DJ: an incognito writer-cum-spinner, whose critiques of the shallow side of DJ life lead Bugged Out! to ask him to 'put his money where his mouth is'. Here's hoping it's as much fun as it sounds.

Head here for tickets before you slip into darkness...
