London isn't the only place lit up by twinkling LEDs in stuff your-face-with-mince-pies season.

If you’re all ‘been there, seen that’ when it comes to the capital’s festive lights, venture out of town to Waddesdon Manor. Inside this grand Victorian pile, inspired by a French Renaissance château, the rooms are glittering in festive finery, while outside, you can feast on seasonal grub at the Christmas fair.

As the sun sets, visitors can wander along an illuminated trail lined with technicolour trees and bushes embellished with glitter balls.

‘Ooh’ and ‘ahh’ as your surroundings are transformed by sounds and animated light projections inspired by Waddesdon’s manicured gardens and unusual architecture. Take that, Oxford Street!

Entry starts from £12, and the illuminated trail will be on display from Saturday November 10 until January 2 2019.

Visit www.waddesdon.org.uk for more information.
