Ever wondered how much cooler the London Eye would be if it was a fully functioning floating pub? Well, wonder no more. One of London’s most famous landmarks is turning the big 2-0 on March 9 and it’s pulling out all the stops with a long weekend of celebrations.
Five of the famous wheel’s pods will be transformed to represent iconic locations that play an important part in London life, ranging from a West End stage to an East End boozer, and the capital’s Royal Parks (pictured above). Fifteen other pods will be hosting immersive experiences, including pampering sessions, cocktail masterclasses, a storytelling corner, spinning lessons and a silent disco. Visitors can take part in these activities while taking in beautiful views of the city.
Tickets can be booked here and all proceeds will go towards children’ charity Merlin’s Magic Wand.
