Girls at every age and stage of life just wanna to have fun. And at 71-years-old, eighties icon Cyndi Lauper proves it. Ahead of retiring from the stage, Cyndi has just set off on her final ever tour.
She’s certainly going out with a bang. According to the Times, the opening night of the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun tour in Glasgow included ‘countless costume changes, bouffant wigs, impressive vocal acrobatics, tall storytelling and a stunt in which [Cyndi] crawled on all fours from a trap door in a frilled red-and-yellow outfit that recalled Ronald McDonald’.
