Capital’s Summertime Ball is returning to London’s Wembley Stadium this summer: date, tickets, line-up and everything you need to know

Since it was founded back in 2009, Capital FM’s Summertime Ball has been a major fixture in London’s jam-packed summer festival calendar, with recent iterations seeing the likes of Kylie Minogue, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Sabrina Carpenter and Ed Sheeran performing sets filled with chart-toppers in front of a packed out Wembley Stadium. 

So we’re thrilled to hear news of the 2025 lineup for the long-standing summer tradition, which is returning in June. Following announcement that the Capital FM-helmed event will be returning (it was announced on Friday April 25), this morning (Monday April 28) we’ve had the first batch of names on the lineup. And, fair warning, it’s looking huge. 

None other than Mariah Carey will be leading the bill this year, alongside the likes of Benson Boone, KSI, Lola Young and Busted vs McFly. See, we told you the lineup was massive. Capital FM’s breakfast show trio (Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby) will once again be at the helm.

When is Capital’s Summertime Ball 2025?

This summer’s edition of the Summertime Ball takes place on Sunday June 15, in the same slot as it has been for the previous few years. 

Where is Capital’s Summertime Ball taking place?

The mini-festival once again takes over the home of English football, northwest London’s Wembley Stadium. With a capacity of 90,000, it’s the largest stadium in the UK.

And that isn’t even all of it. More names will be announced on Capital’s Breakfast show on Tuesday April 29. Fans wishing to be among the first to know who will be gracing the stage at this year’s event should tune in to the show from 7am, when Jordan, Chris and Siân will be sharing who will be gracing the Wembley stage this summer.

The show will also be live-streamed via Capital’s official app, Global Player. 

How to get tickets to Capital’s Summertime Ball

General release tickets to the Summertime Ball will be on sale this Wednesday April 30 at 9am, exclusively via Capital FM’s app, Global Player. Those wishing to buy tickets should make sure they have Global Player downloaded in advance.

Will there be a presale?

Presale for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard opens on Tuesday 29 April at 9am. Buyers will be able to get 10 percent off presale tickets by paying with a Barclaycard. 

And for the afterparty? West London now has a huge new 2,800-capacity venue from the creators of Printworks.
