London Fashion Week (LFW) is almost here, which means the city is going to be taken over by designers, models and influencers. That means no popping to the shops in trackies and Crocs – you never know who you might run into. And while that might sound like some people’s idea of hell, for others, it’s the fashion World Cup.

To celebrate LFW this autumn, one quintessentially British designer, Burberry, is taking over an equally British venue. Forget ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, because Burberry is going to set up shop in the hipster caf Norman’s in north London, which is famous for its bougie breakfast foods and fancy fish finger sandwiches. Proper English grub.

Burberry will be at Norman’s from Wednesday September 13 until Sunday September 17. And if you can’t make it to the café in Archway, a travelling Norman’s food truck will also be fuelling fashionistas on The Strand and Duke of York Square during fashion week.

At the pop-up Burberry will showcase signature elements of its brand, now under the design leadership of Daniel Lee, such as its seasonal check pattern in knight blue, rose print, and the newly redesigned archive-inspired charging knight logo.

The takeover is part of the ‘Burberry Streets’ campaign, where the brand will set up experiences and pop-ups in local institutions across cities around the world. The campaign will travel to Seoul and Shanghai in October.

Whack on your trench coat and get down there.
